Write this type of letter when you want to notify a prospective student who applied to your college or university that he or she has been accepted to the school. Include in your letter any pertinent details, such as to which program or school the student has been accepted. Also notify the student of any action items that he or she should complete, such as notifying the school whether he or she plans to enroll and sending a tuition deposit.
